The Outreach Administrator plays a crucial role in attracting and hiring top talent for the organization by building relationships with colleges, universities, fellow employers, etc. This person is chiefly responsible for leveraging relationships to help create a pipeline of quality artists, educators, and leaders that will help execute the LTYC mission and vision. This position involves broadening and maintaining accounts with

industry-leading job boards and social media, effectively communicating with

applicants, and efficiently moving them through automated workflows.


The Outreach Administrator is responsible for scheduling pre-screenings and interviews, conducting reference checks, and building relationships with educational institutions and other partners. Additionally, the Outreach Administrator collaborates with leadership to determine staffing needs and makes recommendations for candidate selection. This role also involves representing the organization at events such as open houses and career fairs, maintaining a comprehensive database of potential hires, and staying

updated on employment laws and organizational policies.

Compensation:

$30 - $45 hourly

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Attract and recruit the best talent by utilizing industry-leading job boards and other recruitment channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram etc..
  • Maintain and expand relationships with job boards to ensure a broad reach for job postings. Includes workforce development sites, free job board newsletters and blasts.
  • Communicate with applicants efficiently and guide them through automated workflows.
  • Interview Process Management:
  • Schedule pre-screenings and interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a smooth interview process.
  • Conduct reference checks and administer appropriate company assessments to evaluate candidate suitability.


Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, trade schools, arts and culture organizations and other educational institutions to attract top talent.
  • Partner with internal leadership and programming team to determine staffing needs and priorities.
  • Research hiring outreach opportunities. May be asked to represent the organization at open houses, career fairs, and other recruitment events to attract potential candidates on occasion.
  • Database Management:
  • Maintain a comprehensive database that tracks potential hires, resumes, documentation, and other relevant information.
  • Follow up on the interview process status and ensure timely
  • communication with candidates.
  • Ensure a smooth workflow via Google, Wizehire and Monday.com pipeline.


Compliance and Reporting:

  • Stay current on the company's organizational structure, personnel policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
  • Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations.
  • Complete timely reports on employment activity. Support with conducting exit interviews/surveys on transitioning employees/partners as needed
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or higher in human resources/development; OR on track to a degree in human resources/development and coursework equivalent
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with human resources
  • Ability to operate computers and possess advanced knowledge of MS Windows,
  • Proficiency in recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word and other software
