Program Coordinator - Head Start


Child Focus is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Early Learning Head Start team. The Head Start Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of Head Start centers serving preschool children ages 3-5 in the Clermont County area.

Location: Clermont County Area

Job Type: Full Time, Year Round

Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with families and children 3-5.
  • 2 years’ management/supervisory experience.
  • Must meet requirements to qualify as a Center Administrator according to ODJFS.

Additional Requirements: Pass physical examination, background check and drug screen. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, email, data entry, word processing, and internet navigation.

Job Responsibilities: Management and supervision of staff, communication with parents, and ensuring program quality and licensing/regulatory standards are met. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in child development, possess strong organizational skills and supervisory experience, self-motivated and a team player.
