Job Summary

The Procurement Manager oversees all aspects of forecasting and purchasing to meet the needs of the company warehouses and direct shipping customers. Key responsibilities include managing rebate accrual programs with distributors and suppliers, leading the Purchasing Team, and maintaining accurate chemical price lists. This role also handles pricing exceptions, monitoring open order reports, and engages in proactive inventory life cycle management to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient operations. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct forecasting and purchasing activities for individual warehouses
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date chemical price lists
  • Manage pricing exceptions effectively
  • Monitor open orders reports to ensure timely delivery and inventory control
  • Implement strategies for efficient inventory life cycle managment
  • Plan and forecast buying cycles, offering innovative ideas
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply movements across warehouses
  • Flexibly adapt to the dynamic requirements of the purchasing department
  • Occasionally travel to potential suppliers' meetings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 5+ years of purchasing experience required
  • Forecasting and inventory life cycle experience required
  • ERP software experience required
  • Microsoft Office Suite with strong experience in Excel required
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% throughout Florida required
