Field Installation Technician
Salary Range - TBD based on previous work experience

Job Summary
The position of a Field Installation Technician is responsible for providing on-site services fulfilling customers requests. The position requires regional travel to our customers job sites. Success in the position is achieved through the performance of some or all of the following functions or tasks:

General Accountabilities


  • Battery (Telecom) installations and servicing
  • DC cabling, placement, protection and securing
  • Grounding
  • Alarm wiring
  • Installation of power distribution equipment and various related components
  • Ability to follow instructions/scope of work for all jobs received and effectively identify deviations and communicate to management required changes
  • Ability to work both independently and with others in an ever-changing environment
  • Applying problem solving skills to identifying and resolving issues at hand
  • Other duties as necessary
Job Qualifications


  • Applicable Civil and Electrical installation experience is a plus.
  • Experienced in telecommunications or civil construction also a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED required at a minimum.
  • Ability to follow all verbal and written instructions in English. Bi-lingual a plus.
  • Proficiency with the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and/or test equipment common to electrical trade.
  • Physical requirements include - wearing safety gear, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, digging, driving vehicle for long distances, lifting of heavy tools and materials.
  • Strong work ethic required - initiative, tenacity & enjoys a challenge.
  • Position sometimes requires heavy travel, with overnight trips/stays.
  • Must have valid drivers license, a good driving record, and dependable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Must be capable of working both indoors and outdoors, and may require working in direct sunlight daily for up to 10 hours.
