The Role
Are you passionate about Human Resources? PartnerHero is looking for an amazing HR Generalist to help us run operations at our brand new Greensboro site. As part of the HR team, you’ll handle a variety of administrative duties. The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices

What You’ll Do:

  • Working alongside our US-based team to provide support for HR-related matters, including but not limited to the administration of policies, benefits, processes, payroll, employee handbook, guidelines, and resources
  • Supporting wellness initiatives and leading and documenting focus groups, skip level 1:1’s, and other tools that enable transparent open communication channels as well as employee engagement
  • Assisting in conflict resolution conversations, as well as providing coaching and tools for leaders and associates on this matter
  • Supporting the Learning and Development initiatives by leading workshops, identifying talent, and guiding associates on development roadmaps
  • Reviewing, tracking, and documenting compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Attending and participating in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Updating employee records utilizing the partner's HRIS system
  • Helping to drive company-wide programs, events, and initiatives

What We Expect From You:
  • At least 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, Analyst, or Specialist
  • Experience in payroll and legal requirements based on North Carolina labor law
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • A highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work
  • Strong-willed (you get things done) but also kind-hearted (you’re empathetic and easy to work with)
  • Tech-savvy (you are equally versed in MS Office, Google Suite, and Slack; you know how to troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, and internet connections)
  • Strong analytical skills (reporting, gathering and assessing data, etc...)
  • Desire to stretch yourself and learn new skills
  • Excitement about absorbing and contributing to PartnerHero’s dynamic startup culture
