Production Associate 1st Shift

JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $18 per hour
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM - Monday - Friday
DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Duties include working with metal fabrication equipment and material handling
- Execute assignments as given by the Supervisor or Group Leader
- Immediately inform supervision of all equipment, process, material, safety, and quality concerns
- Follow all work instructions, policies, work rules, safety guidelines, and work procedures
- Training other team members as assigned
- Participate in daily housekeeping of assigned areas and other cleanup efforts as assigned
- Participate in problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer complaint resolution efforts
- Accept reassignment to other departments as workload dictate
- Maintaining inventory in the system including production through operating systems
- Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 1 years production and/or shipping experience, preferably in the metals and materials industry
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to comprehend and execute work assignments with minimal follow up
- Customer service and quality driven
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Ability to be cross trained in other functions
- Ability to use diverse hand tools and equipment to perform duties
- Basic math, reasoning, problem solving and computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
