Overview:
Circle Logistics is seeking an experienced and dynamic Enterprise Vice President of Sales to lead our enterprise sales efforts within the freight brokerage industry. This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and foster long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight brokerage, logistics, or a related field, with proven success in enterprise sales management.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy that aligns with Circle Logistics business objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and strategies to capture significant market share within the freight brokerage industry.
  • Establish and achieve ambitious sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and refine strategies to enhance sales effectiveness and productivity.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing enterprise sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, helping them optimize their supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring efficient lead generation, qualification, and conversion processes.
  • Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track performance and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns that drive lead generation and brand visibility.
  • Lead high-level negotiations with enterprise clients, securing profitable and sustainable contracts.
  • Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability.
  • Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive dynamics to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to product and operations teams based on client insights and market demands to enhance service offerings.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the sales team.

Experience/Education:
  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience in the freight brokerage or logistics industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/relevant professional qualification required.
  • 2 years of experience freight brokering/dispatching required.
  • Account management experience preferred.
  • Transportation experience in dispatch and/or operations preferred.
  • Book of business (truck base or customer base) preferred.

  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a complex enterprise sales environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a high-performance sales team.
