Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is a growing full 3PL servicing fortune 500 companies looking for DOT Safety Manager. This position will lead the efforts to manage and guide the company to assure that we have the safest workplace and practices possible for our employees and the people we interact with.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Leads efforts to ensure excellent driver safety performance through the use of our onboard computer system and associated monitoring systems and address issues through the corrective action process, prescribing appropriate action when applicable.
  • Identifies, establishes, and/or maintains the safety training requirements and associated methods of communication for our DOT classified workforce.
  • Performs data analysis on accident and violation information (e.g. HOS) to determine focus areas for remediation, prevention and risk management.
  • Ensures that we operate in full accordance with the FMCSR and stays current with changes; provides updates on important regulation/industry changes.
  • Ensures we are in compliance with CTPAT and other various regulatory agencies for the company.
  • Ensures that our CSA scores and associated BASIC information is accurate; offers recommendations and action plans when conflict arises.
  • Manages the company’s DOT random drug and alcohol program.
  • Serves as a resource to review and offer input and approval on driver applicants relative to their past employment and driving record.
  • Complete, or assist in the completion of, required reporting and record keeping (e.g. Smart Way).
  • Works with appropriate personnel to ensure DQ file accuracy and proper file maintenance.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on accident investigations and incidents and provides guidance to supervisory staff.
  • Established education programs and develops safety personnel that directly report to this position
  • Duties can expand at the discretion and warrant of need as deemed appropriate by management.
  • MUST HAVE 5 YEARS SAFETY TRUCKING (18 WHEELER) LARGE VOLUME EXPERIENCE
