We are looking for a Deli Associate to join our team.  We are a small independent Grocery/Convenience store. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry and be able to work quickly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing food, and cleaning up. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We would train you in all areas of the job to make sure you are prepared.  We have detailed lists for all workers, so they know what is expected of them.  Many of the workers have been with the store for more than five years.  

Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent customer service
* Greet customers and take orders
* Keep the deli counter clean and organized
* Prepare food items according to customer orders
* Ensure that all food items are prepared and store properly and in accordance with food safety standards 
* Rotate stock for freshness

Job type: Full time
Pay:  $14.00 -$16.00 per hour

Benefits:
Paid training
Flexible hours   shifts would be similar to 12pm-8pm in the fall and winter or 1pm-9pm during the summer months.  Weekends are a must
