Summary: The Drain Specialist will be responsible for visiting with customers to recommend and quote new and existing services and to close the sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Strategic Work:

  • Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
  • Become an expert of your market area, know your customer needs as they pertain to the industry.
  • Cultivate sales opportunities through marketing, customer follow up, and self-generation.
  • Dedicates time to growing a professional network: Attending events, generating referrals and leverages social media, email campaigns and in person meetings to strengthen relationships.

Tactical Work:

  • Provides professional consultative sales presentation to customers for the purpose of generating sales.
  • Representative is responsible to self-generate leads as well as effectively close leads provided by the company.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.
  • Communicates clearly and directly with others including management, co-workers, customers, vendors, and prospects.
  • Prepares and presents customer presentations, quotations, sales plans, sales literature, and sales contracts, using basic computer software resulting in acceptable close ratios as defined by company.
  • Operates computer, I-Pad, phone, drain camera and other technology required for the position, in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Communicates and visits potential, new and older customers.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service and integrity in the industry.
  • Keep vehicle neat and clean.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is expected.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma/Equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 Years’ Sale experience in Residential Drain Replacement including but not limited to: Outside, Inside or Direct sales.
  • Must be proficient in using drain camera equipment and measuring skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Must be able to read and write English well enough to read and prepare invoices, time sheets and proposals.
  • Must hear and speak well enough to conduct business over the telephone or face to face for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read English well enough to understand technical journals.
  • Must be able to speak English well enough to clearly communicate with customers, vendors, inspectors, employees, and the public.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
