Job Description: You will package prescriptions in blister cards, sort and organize completed prescriptions, and prepare prescriptions for shipments.


Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pull correct stock bottle from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging
  • Accurately package prescriptions in blister cards based on the directions for use, either by hand or using packaging machines
  • Pull correct pre-packed blister card and affix prescriptions labels
  • Sort and organize completed prescriptions
  • Perform quality assurance checks as directed
  • Prepare shipments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance
  • Willing to get an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly
  • Must be able to stand/be on feet for duration of an eight (8) hour shift
