Job DescriptionJob Description

Our Client provides services to the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers and the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. Our Client is Looking for a Radio Frequency Technician.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity - conversions can be as early as 3 months

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs RF circuit boards used in RAN equipment.
  • Troubleshoots to the component level.
  • Work with Remote Radio Head (RRH) engineering team, interacting closely with engineers and technicians.
  • Use network analyzers to gather RF data for reports in the support of RRH product development.
  • Reads and works from schematics.
  • Run PIM (Passive Intermodulation) test equipment to troubleshoot and repair antenna prototypes.
  • Maintains satisfactory Quality performance levels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work station.
  • Trains and/or assists other Technicians in aspects of repair.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with receive & amplifier circuits
  • Electronics Certification
  • Pass a Technical Aptitude Test

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess knowledge of RF principles.
  • Possess soldering and de-soldering skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory.
  • Must be able to use signal generator.
  • Must be able to use Spectrum analyzer.
  • Must possess knowledge of VSWR, ACLR & feedback circuits.
