Seasoned Recruitment is recruiting for Registered Nurses (RN) either perm or contract/travel roles. You will collaborate with physicians and other staff to provide comprehensive care to patients. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of various illnesses and injuries and possesses a compassionate and hard-working attitude.

Registered Nurse Duties and Responsibilities:

- Comply with our policies and procedures.

- Develop the nursing care plan.

- Perform patient assessments and history.

- Administer medications and blood products as ordered.

- Change wound dressings and manage wounds.

- Monitor patient vitals and detect changes in symptoms, health, and/or pain.

- Perform nursing procedures and assist physicians with procedures.

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

- Communicate clearly and directly with patients; provide emotional support to patients and family members under stress.

- Provide patient and family education.

- Document patient care, findings, and psychosocial responses to nursing interventions.

- Initiate emergency measures as applicable based on patient age and condition.

- Maintain confidentiality related to patient, family, client facility, and staff under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Requirements

- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.

- Current, active nursing license in the state of expected practice.

- Understanding of standard medical practices and procedures.

- Excellent communication skills and great bedside manner.

- CPR appropriate to the field of practice, at least Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
