Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs as directed 
  • Attend training, shop meetings, continue education provided by the manufacturers to improve competence level
  • Understand and follow Federal, State, and Local regulations
  • Road test vehicles to quality check work performed 
  • Keep shop area neat and clean and able to account for all dealership owned tools
  • Document all work performed 
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or maintenance work is required 
  • Diagnose the cause of malfunction 
  • Maintain CSI level established by manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Complete Subaru training

Qualifications

  • Must possess some mechanical experience as a Lube Technician or Apprentice Technician
  • Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
  • Willingness to learn 
  • Able to take directions and then follow them
  • A desire to learn and deliver customer satisfaction every time
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be able to attend all service training and meetings 
Hours
  • Monday - Friday 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM 
  • Every 3rd Saturday: 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM
