Position Summary:
The primary role of this Developer is to provide coding, support and sustainment of new and existing applications, support of 3rd party applications and integrations (API and EDI) as well as WMS knowledge, development, and expertise. The Senior Developer will work within an extremely technical development team while providing mentoring for Jr. development staff. The position requires working directly with departmental leaders, teams, and co-workers to enhance the environment and continually improve our business processes.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Develops customized solutions with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code using the Microsoft stack
• Provides reference architecture to the development staff
• Configures and codes workflow process using internal Microsoft stack tools to enhance internal systems
• Creates, maintains, and documents application flows, power automation and workflow processes
• Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues
• Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines
• Works closely with software architect or technical lead to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs
• Responsible for managing and maintaining MS SQL Server
• Leads in requirement, design, and code reviews
• Lead in developing our data warehouse capabilities
• Creates unit and automated acceptance tests
• Extracts data and delivers reports to meet business needs
• Discovers and fixes programming defects and issues
• Maintains high programming standards and documentation
• Maintains, plans, tests, and rolls out customer, applications, and 3rd party SaaS products

Skills and Specifications Required:
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college, university, or technical school
• Six to eight years of related software development experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft stack including .Net and/or C#
• Expertise managing MS SQL Server
• Experience delivering parameterized reports via SRSS
• Experience preferred with Azure Data Management tools (DataBricks, DataLake, Data Factory, etc)
• Experience working on an Agile team
• Ability to communicate with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using source control & issue tracking (Azure DevOps)
• Experience working in a hybrid environment
• Ability to work independently and pivot direction on projects as needed
• Ability to analyze user feedback and create changes as needed
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve issues
• Ability to extract data and work with reporting tools
• Ability to work efficiently with API interfaces and the hand off data
• Ability to configure vs code enhancements
