Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation Services:
- Drive clients to and from destinations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Familiarize with different routes and traffic patterns to ensure timely arrival.
- Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle and with any luggage.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in excellent working condition.
- Perform routine checks on oil, fuel, tires, brakes, lights, and other systems.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
- Customer Service:
- Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with special requests, such as picking up items or adjusting the route as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion with client information.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to transportation and client interaction.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and any other required certifications.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, expenses, and client details.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Ensure all documentation and permits are up-to-date.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience as a chauffeur or professional driver preferred.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license; commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required.
- Skills:
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of local and regional traffic laws and routes.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and adapt to changing schedules.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to sit for long periods while driving.
- Capability to lift and carry luggage or other items as needed.
- Visual and auditory ability to operate a vehicle safely.
- Work hours may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- May involve long-distance driving or travel.
- Exposure to various weather conditions while driving.
