Position Summary
Responsible for all HR activities. Provide assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures and documentation. Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries. Ensure company receivables / payable procedures conform to company policies.
Primary Tasks & Responsibilities
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Enter cash
• Monitor aging
• Make collection calls
• Processing claims, contacting customer/assign claim #/approved by General Manager
• Manual checks (petty cash checks)
• Maintaining employee files, attendance records
Weekly Job functions
• Payroll for approximately 75 employees
Other job functions
• Typing memos and/or letter for the General Manager, Shipping, Receiving and Maintenance
• Liaison with Worker’s comp carrier for injuries at facility
• Prepare and circulate accident reports to proper parties
• Maintain all health insurance enrollment/terminations
• Assist employees with basic insurance claim issues
• Monitor changes to 401(k) elections and change in payroll accordingly
• Understand and follow all food safety procedures and policy
• Process background checks on new hires
• Handle all termination activities for terminating staff
• Letters to customer / vendor
• Monitor and schedule employee benefits such as sick, vacation, etc.
• OSHA-accident reports/OSHA 300 and 300A forms
• Rate increase forms
• Manual miscellaneous billing (inter-company)
• Purchase order
• Match all payable to PO’s and reviewing before General Manager signs off
• Review any remaining PO’s at end of month and inform General Manager
• Monitor and refill postage machine
• Fill in for the office manager in an absence or vacation if necessary
• Conduct orientations, which include having a full understand of all corporate policies in employee handbook, and having the ability to summarize and communicate them to new staff
• Review new hire package with all new staff which includes:
o Proper ID/I-9
o W-4
o Personal new hire record form
o Employee handbook
o Substance test consent form

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
