JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualified personnel will be responsible for maintaining, retaining, and expanding relationships with a designated client group in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner, by phone and e-mail. The CSR position will support all aspects of a client’s relationship with Spartina 449. Exceptional organization, communication, follow up, problem solving, decision making, and judgment will be critical to being successful at this position. Excellent computer skills & data entry required. This position will also require initiative, the skills to self-teach, and learn quickly. This position is responsible for contributing to the wholesale customer service team’s service level requirements related to order fulfillment, responsiveness to customers, and sales growth goals. Individuals will determine best method to resolve problems, ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to company/customers policies, practices and guidelines. Working hours are 8:30-530pm but not limited to.

  • Perform all duties in the job description accurately, on a timely basis, and in a professional manner.
  • Treat customers, internal and external, and co-workers with courtesy and respect. Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills in relating with peers, management, and customers.
  • Take ownership of situations by answering questions or finding the answers from the appropriate department.
  • Handle a variety of duties, requests, and projects that require changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency, accuracy or composure. Perform other duties as requested to maintain the effective operations of the department.
  • Work with minimum supervision, achieving objectives independently in a timely manner.
  • Utilize abilities in problem solving, analysis, research, and resolution, using available resources to accomplish objectives and goals appropriate to the position.
  • Employ effective oral and written communication skills appropriate to the position.
  • Be an ambassador for Spartina 449 at all business-related activities, functions and events.
  • Demonstrate an on-going adherence to all Spartina 449’s policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties or special projects may be assigned.

  • Provide excellent customer service and cultivate a close working relationship with a designated client group and to provide a service experience that is memorable and positive to that designated group.
  • Provide excellent customer service and cultivate close working relationships with related sales representative.
  • Accept, process, and track customer orders through NetSuite.
  • Respond to customer’s inquiries by e-mail in the time frames established.
  • Maintain accounts to ensure accurate delivery and product distribution.
  • Learn and maintain up to date knowledge of product sourcing to ensure on time delivery and order fulfillment percentages standards are met or exceeded.
  • Communicate and interact with other departments as necessary to provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain established standards for order fulfillment activities.
  • Create and occasionally present weekly reports tracking the status of clients and reporting on the level of achievement related to the performance standards established.
  • Continuing education and training to increase knowledge and take on more advanced responsibilities.
  • Create return authorizations; resolve shipping-errors, process complaint requests.
  • Develop an extensive knowledge of Spartina 449’s products, product availability, and marketing promotions. Identify opportunities to utilize this knowledge to increase sales.
  • Function as a self-motivated team player in a fast-paced multi-task environment.
  • May be required to perform additional duties, special projects and responsibilities as assigned by Customer Service Manager.
