Essential Job Requirements and Responsibilities:  Automotive Experience Required for this position

  • Conduct detailed sales and expense analysis to inform decision-making and drive profitability.
  • Oversee all levels of accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Collaborate with the management team and other departments to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with accounting associates and motivate staff to consistently me
  • Cultivate positive business relations with internal stakeholders, customers, and external vendors.
  • Develops controls necessary for the proper conduct of business and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever growing environment
  • Works with integrity and ethically and upholds company/organization values.
  • Prepare complete financial statements and submit to the manufacture and management in accordance with established time frames.
  • Interpret and analyze financial statements
  • Manage the day to day accounting operations of the store to ensure that all transactions are recorded in compliance with dealership accounting processes and policies.
  • Close the books accurately each month.
  • Provide administrative support to management, sales and other departments as needed
  • Any other duties assigned by Senior Management (i.e. General Manager, COO, Corp Controller or President)
  • Clean Background Required for Controller Position
