DIESEL MECHANIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Included, but not limited to

· Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair a variety of equipment

· Diagnose and repair vehicle and equipment malfunctions

· Perform inspection and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, buildings and facilities

· Performing welding repairs, prefabricating parts

· Submit purchase order requests for parts, materials and equipment

· Instruct operators in the use and care of vehicles and equipment

· Maintained a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop

· Requisition parts and equipment

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS OF THE DIESEL MECHANIC:

· Class A Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement

· Previous experience working on off-road heavy equipment

· Welding, cutting and fabricating skills

· Ethical Conduct

· Communication Proficiency

· Technical Capacity

· Organizational Skills

· Punctuality
