Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Pharmacist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from accredited school of Pharmacy, one year of pharmacy experience and hospital pharmacy experience.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy the staff pharmacist is responsible for the performance of professional functions generally associate with the practice of pharmacy in the institutional setting as authorized by the Vermont Board of Pharmacy Rules and Regulations. Reviews and interprets physician orders to evaluate drug incompatibilities, allergies, appropriateness of therapy, including drug selection, dosage, and frequency of administration. Confers with the physicians and allied health personnel as necessary to resolve all questions and irregularities regarding physician orders.
