Key Responsibilities:
  • Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture 
  • Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral) 
  • Assists with radiographic procedures 
  • Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing  
  • Provide care to hospitalized patients  
  • Manage invoicing of patients 
  • Client communication and education 
  • Admitting and discharging patients 


Skills Knowledge & Expertise
  • At least one year of veterinary experience in a clinic setting.
  • Completion of a two-year or four-year American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited veterinary technician program from a college or university preferred.
  • Externship experience preferred.
