Veterinary Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
- Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral)
- Assists with radiographic procedures
- Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing
- Provide care to hospitalized patients
- Manage invoicing of patients
- Client communication and education
- Admitting and discharging patients
Skills Knowledge & Expertise
- At least one year of veterinary experience in a clinic setting.
- Completion of a two-year or four-year American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited veterinary technician program from a college or university preferred.
- Externship experience preferred.
