Our show combines traditional AV techniques with modern multimedia tools to create a truly immersive experience for our audience. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Production Technician to join our team and help us deliver a seamless and captivating experience for our visitors.

Job Description
As a Production Technician, you will play a vital role in the operation and maintenance of the Nazarene Experience. You will report directly to the Technical Director and work closely with the production team to ensure that all technical aspects of the show are functioning optimally. This role requires a versatile skill set encompassing AV technology, multimedia, projection mapping, and customer interaction.

Responsibilities
Back-of-House Duties
- Install, operate, and maintain projection-mapped displays and DMX-driven lighting systems.
- Configure and operate dynamic moving fixtures and ensure basic rigging and overhead safety.
- Maintain and troubleshoot video and audio systems to ensure high-quality show performance.
- Assist in basic computer networking and scripting tasks to support the technical infrastructure.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs to ensure all equipment is in top condition.
Front-of-House Duties
- Interact with customers and provide technical support for AI and VR experiences.
- Assist customers with the "Travel-In-Time" Photobooth, utilizing FaceFusion and/or Stable Diffusion to create personalized images.
- Guide customers through the "VR Experience A Dialogue with Pontius Pilate," ensuring a smooth and engaging experience with the Oculus 3 VR headset.

Qualifications
  • - Strong knowledge of projection mapping, AV systems, and DMX lighting.
    - Basic understanding of computer networking and scripting.
    - Familiarity with rigging and overhead safety procedures.
    - General proficiency in video and audio systems.
    - Ability to operate and maintain technical equipment with minimal supervision.
    - Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    - Dependable, reliable, and punctual with a strong attention to detail.
    - Team player who works well in a fast-paced environment.
    - Proficiency in typing, web browsing, MS Office, Google Docs, and basic PC usage.
    - Physically fit to handle and transport equipment.

    Preferred Skills
    - Experience with TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine, HOG4, Dante, and Ubiquiti hardware for live production environments.
    - Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, and cloud-based tools.
    - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
    - Experience driving a scissor lift or forklift is a plus.
