As a Practice Manager at Lumina Vision Partners, you will have the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive practice growth, and ensure exceptional patient care. Own: The day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring efficient workflows, superior patient satisfaction, and strong financial performance. They will be accountable for implementing new systems and managing the team to uphold company values and standards.

Teach: Train and develop the staff to provide high-quality patient care, emphasizing customer service, teamwork, and efficiency. They will instill best practices in staff members, ensuring consistent delivery of services across all roles within the practice.

Learn: Gain proficiency in new technologies, systems, and operational improvements. They will continually evaluate patient feedback and financial metrics to identify and address areas for improvement.

Improve: Patient satisfaction, revenue growth, and staff performance. They will reduce inefficiencies, streamline processes, and foster a positive and proactive work environment, ensuring the practice operates smoothly and profitably.

1 month, this person will:

  • Fully immerse themselves in understanding the practice’s workflows, patient needs, and team dynamics.
  • Build relationships with doctors, staff, and the home office team, gaining a clear picture of challenges and opportunities.
  • Develop a short-term action plan to address immediate issues, such as patient wait times and staff productivity.

2 months, this person will:

  • Begin implementing changes to streamline patient scheduling and service delivery, improving the patient experience.
  • Lead staff training sessions on new processes, focusing on enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and adjust staffing levels to match the demands of the practice, ensuring the right people are in the right roles.

3 months, this person will:

  • Have improved patient satisfaction scores through better service workflows and reduced wait times.
  • Successfully introduce new technologies, ensuring all staff are trained and proficient in their use.
  • Achieve an increase in practice revenue, with clear plans for further growth and profitability within the next year.

Potential Obstacles: Achieving these objectives may require overcoming several obstacles, including:

  • Managing tight schedules and budgets while maintaining a high level of patient care.
  • Increasing revenue and patient visits while controlling costs.
  • Staff may initially be resistant to new processes or technology.

Work Environment: The Practice Manager will work onsite, closely collaborating with doctors, staff, and the home office team.
