The Career Track Engagement Coordinator is pivotal to the workforce development efforts of Builders Bridge and the True Homes Foundation by recruiting, developing, employing, and managing the successful completion of participants in the Career Track. This role requires effective communication skills, organization, and the ability to support both participants and employers throughout the program. The coordinator ensures the smooth operation of cohorts launched and provides ongoing support to participants as they navigate their career track.


Responsibilities:
•Manages and oversees all cohorts launched within the Builders Bridge program.
•Monitors participant progress and addresses any issues or concerns that may arise during the program.
•Establishes and maintains regular communication channels with both participants and employers involved in the program.
•Provides weekly updates and reminders to participants regarding program requirements, deadlines, and upcoming events.
•Serves as a point of contact for inquiries and support for participants and employers.
•Facilitates the transition of program participants into the alumni program upon completion of the Builders Bridge program.
•Organizes recruitment efforts with schools, community partners and churches to create a pipeline of potential candidates for the Builders Bridge Navigator Program
•Works with Builders Bridge Director and Trade Council Partners to determine the number of jobs needed for each cohort launched into the industry.
•Maintains accurate records of participant progress, feedback, and program evaluations.
•Assists in the development and distribution of program materials, including handbooks, guides, and resources.
•Coordinates logistical aspects of program activities, such as scheduling meetings, booking venues, and arranging guest speakers. Results and Accountability:
•75% retention rate of participants after 6 months in the Career Track
•Responsible for recruitment efforts until there are 3 cohorts each year with at least 15participants in one cohort
•Maintains a positive reputation with schools, community partners, and Trade Partners


Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree preferred
•Three or more years of leadership experience
•Experience working with young adults, relationship building, networking, and non-profit experience preferred.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office
•Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and reliable personal transportation required for daily travel in NC and SC

Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
•Ability to travel and visit jobsites
•Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment
