We are seeking a Laborer with some experience with general carpentry in residential remodeling or a desire to learn. Green/sustainable building experience a plus. 

 

Job Description:

The Laborers role at Model Remodel is to be responsible for keeping a clean, safe, and organized job site while assisting with basic carpentry tasks. To be successful in this role you must have a willingness to work in all phases of remodeling, as well as an ability to communicate clearly and efficiently using phones, email, and text.

Job Requirements:

  • Must maintain, promote, and enforce a safe, clean job site and work environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, dedicated, well presented and extremely hardworking.
  • Must excel in multi-tasking. Tasks include, but not limited to: general carpentry, demolition, deconstruction, digging, site protection and cleanup, materials purchase and delivery.
  • Required to have a valid driver's license, good driving record AND reliable transportation.
  • Must have general personal tools including nail bags, hand tools, power tools (e.g. cordless drills, saws) etc.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds (more with appropriate help/assistance).
  • Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be physically able to perform most duties required on a remodel project.
