We excel at providing great products, superior customer service, customized Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs, product testing, and engineering solutions for our valued clients. More than half of the items we supply are specifically engineered for our clients' unique applications, and many are non-fastener items such as stampings, molded plastics and composites, mechanical assemblies, kits of various configurations, fittings, private labeled products, and many more. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and Assess New Business Opportunities
    • Ascertain and report on competitive information within the industry and account base.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new business opportunities with assigned customers and new customers that align with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Evaluate the feasibility and profitability of these opportunities and present recommendations to senior management.
  • Margin Improvement
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for ongoing margin improvement across existing business lines.
    • Identify areas for cost reduction, process optimization, and revenue enhancement, and monitor progress toward achieving margin improvement goals.
  • Contractual Agreements
    • Oversee the negotiation and management of contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners.
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, manage contract reviews, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions that mitigate risks and maximize value for the organization.
    • Own all obligations of agreements including rebates, VA/VE, price negotiations, obsolescence, and receivables.
  • Launch of New Business Ventures
    • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of new business ventures, from concept development to launch.
    • Develop project plans, set milestones, and monitor progress, ensuring timely and budget-compliant fulfillment of all requirements.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting
    • Develop and maintain annual budgets, and monthly and weekly forecasts for current and future business.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, departmental managers, account team, and external partners, to align objectives and ensure and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Foster strong relationships and effective communication channels to facilitate collaboration and decision-making through face-to-face meetings with stakeholders and quarterly customer business reviews.
  • Team Leadership
    • Provide guidance and leadership to the account team, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals and deliver high-quality service to clients.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE POSITION:
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new business ventures or initiatives.
  • Proven expertise in overseeing accounts and working with account teams
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of financial metrics and experience in margin improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to draft and review complex contractual agreements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
  • Must have 5+ years of sales-related experience

  • Mandatory possession of a valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and insurability are needed for work-related travel.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

TRAVEL:

  • This position requires regular travel, including on-site Customer Quarterly Business Reviews and weekly travel to support new business growth, project launches, and other responsibilities with both current and new customers.
  • Business-related travel expenses will be reimbursed monthly.
