Job Overview:

As the Corporate HR Manager at Kingston Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture, developing talent, and enhancing employee engagement initiatives. This will entail managing a team of HR professionals to implement strategic HR programs that support our mission and values while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This hands-on role is position at our corporate office located in the heart of Toledo, OH.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your know-how to improve employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
  • Oversee all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations for our 75 home office employees.
  • Keep the trains running smoothly by overseeing the daily workflow of the department.
  • Place yourself in the role of trusted advisor to company leadership and decision-makers in all aspects of employee relations.
  • Lead the charge on diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to foster an even more inclusive workplace.
  • Ensure effective administration of human resource programs, which includes benefits and leave management, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale improvement, occupational health and safety.
  • Stay on top of employment laws and regulations and ensure appropriate compliance at all times. Additionally, recommend best practices and review and revise policies and practices accordingly.
  • Maintain and improve your expertise in HR best practices, talent management, and employment law, and then apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and HR resources to the leadership team.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of human resource management experience, with a team of no less than five (5) people.
  • Highly desired HR certifications such as SRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
  • Healthcare industry experience will be given preferential treatment.
