Job Purpose:

The Director, Marketing Communications will lead messaging, positioning, and content development efforts across all corporate brands, supporting the company's internal communications objectives and enhancing brand equity in the market.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position may or may not have direct reports.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the creation of compelling messaging and content for all marketing materials, including digital, social media, website, print collateral, and presentations
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, positioning and visual identity across all internal and external channels and platforms

· Oversee the development and maintenance of the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content that engages our target audience

· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities and incorporate insights into messaging and content strategies

  • Implement a content lifecycle management practice to ensure relevancy and maintain differentiation in the marketplace
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align messaging with overall business goals and product strategies
  • Spearhead a thought leadership content development strategy to drive ongoing industry awareness and inclusion

· Serve as a brand steward, ensuring that all external communications uphold our brand standards and resonate with our target audience

· Lead strategic departmental initiatives that promote operational innovation and continuous improvement

  • Promote, adhere to, and live our workplace values of trust, transparency, respect, and unity
  • Any other assigned duties

Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong writing ability with experience in content lifecycle management
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Excellent collaboration skills with a dedication to internal customer service
  • Fanatical attention to detail while keeping the big vision in mind

Required education and experience:

  • 10+ years of business-to-business marketing communications experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
