Job Scope

 

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to join us as a vital member of the team, further developing the ScottCare brand and creating awareness for ScottCare products and services. This highly collaborative role will work across departments and organizational levels to plan and execute integrated marketing communications strategies and campaigns to support company business goals. This role will lead, implement and support projects across all areas of marketing, including brand development, advertising, trade shows, digital marketing, sales promotions, and product promotion.

 

Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop plans for product promotions in support of marketing objectives.
  • Design and produce all sales and marketing collateral, corporate brand materials, advertising, and tradeshow assets
  • Write and/or copy edit all communications including sales collateral, press releases, article submissions, newsletters, email blasts, website copy, and social media communications.
  • Provide creative direction for and production of marketing collateral, exhibit displays, advertisements and other marketing design projects.
  • Ensure all public-facing materials adhere to current branding specifications and related regulatory requirements.
  • Assist various departments with design and editing projects as required.
  • Ensure effective tradeshow coordination including show scheduling, booth purchase, shipping, consignment, attendee logistics and related event planning.
  • Coordinate/manage digital marketing activities and maintain the company website.
  • Prepare and maintain the marketing communication budget, updating the Executive team as appropriate.
  • Manage off-site print production activities.
  • Procure and coordinate related vendor services.


 

Job Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
  • At least seven years of experience in marketing communications.
  • Trade show coordination and exhibit management experience.
  • Experience marketing to B2B audiences
  • Experience in the medical device industry preferred.

 

 

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
  • Extensive copy writing and graphic design experience (portfolio required).
  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to meet changing demands and adapt quickly to frequently changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within teams.
  • Self-directed, deadline and action-oriented with a high level of energy, integrity, and enthusiasm.
  • Experience with relevant software programs, primarily MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Experience with social media marketing
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices

 

Work Environment

The Marketing Communications Manager position requires a moderate amount of walking and some standing, bending, twisting, and pushing/pulling or lifting/lowering up to 10 lbs. The position is a hybrid position of a split of remote work and as needed in-office requirements. 10% travel required to State/National Trade Shows annually.
