In this role, you will focus primarily on community engagement efforts aligning with and in support of overall company strategy and marketing goals. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Support the planning and execution of a wide range of events, including cannabis industry-specific conferences, local community activities, and dispensary grand openings
- Assist with developing and implementing the company’s doctor outreach program, including building, and maintaining regional contact lists, conducting outreach, and establishing standard operating procedures
- Identify opportunities for local community partnerships and work with internal staff to support, grow and maintain these relationships
- Establish metrics for all community initiatives, monitor implementation, and evaluate results
- Prepare reports, recommendations, presentations, and other materials as needed for the management team
- May also perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent interpersonal and community engagement skills
- Strong public speaking, oral, and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to think on your feet and make real-time decisions about job priorities
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Flexible and open to changing and evolving responsibilities in a fast-growing company
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred in Public Affairs, Marketing, Communications, or related field)
- Ability to travel within Florida
- Willing to work nights and weekends to attend events
- Cannabis industry experience is a plus
