Trimper Rides of Ocean City is looking to hire 5 Experienced Housekeepers to take care of the building’s general cleanliness and provide tidy and sanitary amenities to guests, residents and employee offices and common areas.. Our ideal candidates are self-starters, motivated, hard-working, dependable employees. The training for this position will begin Mid February so all new staff will be properly trained and up to speed on all the job duties for this position before our 2024 season starts.


Hours:  Days and Weekends required

FLSA:   Full-time Seasonal


Job Duties:

  • Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests checkout
  • Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service 
  • Report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to supervisor 
  • Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift 
  • Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift
  • Sweep, scrub, mop and vacuum floors in all rentals and offices
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery as needed
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas
  • Maintain health and sanitary requirements


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage time effectively to ensure completion of tasks
  • Knowledge of cleaning practices and procedure
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen effectively
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under little supervision


Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, lift, and reach throughout your shift
