Pay Range: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE)

We are the largest Traffic Control Company in Northern California offering a competitive salary and benefits package.  


We service all Northern California from multiple locations. We provide high quality traffic control safety services to construction job sites, such as Flagging traffic through a work site, setting up and monitoring Lane Closures to divert traffic, or Detouring traffic to reduce traffic congestion and prevent accidents.   We serve the needs of varied industries and are focused on maintaining a safe work environment for the construction crew, our employees, and the public. Our focus is Safety, so our customers can focus on their jobs. 


The Payroll Compliance Administrator will compile and record employee time and payroll data. This includes assisting with the preparation, documentation and disbursement of the organization's Certified Payroll, statement of compliance and fringe benefits. Must have experience with online payroll reporting (LCP Tracker, Elations).

POSITION DUTIES:

  • Upload, download, and organize certified payroll and labor compliance documents using LCP Tracker, Elations, and other software.
  • Ensure all certified payroll is complete and processed weekly.
  • Assist with DIR Uploads per project requirements.
  • Assist with the timely submission of DAS 140/142 Apprentice documents.
  • Assist with monthly document submissions to the project owners.
  • Communicates with all Subcontractors regarding certified payroll/labor compliance documents are included and corrected, if needed.
  • Prepare periodic status reports needed to release payments to subcontractors.
  • Submit and complete all labor compliance documents and requirements for projects.
  • Effectively communicate with internal team members and client liaison.

  • Back up to Payroll Specialist when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
 

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and make good judgement calls on priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Reliability and able to handle many projects simultaneously are key.
  • Construction Industry experience is a plus.
  • Ideal Attributes: Multitasker, well-organized, pro-active, able to take direction from many,
  • Positive, detail-oriented, Great communication skills, listening, written, and verbal.
  • Word, Excel & Outlook working knowledge are required.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's degree in business or related field.
  • 3 years Certified Payroll experience minimum.
  • 3+ years hands on experience in payroll processing and associated activities.
  • Experience with online payroll reporting (LCP Tracker, Elations) a must.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification a plus.
