Supervisor

We are a leading wholesale distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables, committed to providing exceptional quality and service to our customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supervisor.  The Supervisor oversees the company's team of associates who assist wholesale clients in acquiring selections and delivery of produce inventory. The job involves leading processes, schedules, quality control and team development in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily team member assignments, schedules, and routes to meet incoming produce deliveries and client arrival times
  • Oversee training and development of new team associates on selecting, moving, and loading inventory for clients
  • Continuously evaluate produce ripeness/quality and determine discard, rotation, and inventory replenishment needs
  • Coach and provide feedback to team members on improving performance, safety practices, and customer interactions
  • Resolve issues or conflicts that occur between team members and wholesale buyers
  • Identify methods and technologies to improve warehouse flows, processes and traceability

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in food/produce handling operations
  • 1+ years supervising teams in a warehouse environment
  • Bilingual Spanish and English required
  • Strong communication, coaching, and analytical capability
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate equipment
  • Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, etc
