Summary of Role

Full-time bookkeeper responsible for overseeing our financial records including sales, payroll, taxes. Work closely with the management team to create and analyze financial reports to improve all systems and further the growth of the business. Manages and protects all assets including property, vehicles, and IT. Assures integrity in companys information systems. Additionally, administrative help assisting with our office and showroom.

Responsibilities
  • Process all data related to sales and financial upkeep related to sales.
  • Manage accounts payables, receivables, vendor credits, rebates, co-op dollars, and operating expenses.
  • Manage all financial reconciliation in QuickBooks Online.
  • Create and regularly updates management for the purposes of supporting company goals and objectives.
  • Process Payroll. Assures that all processes and procedures are followed for onboarding employees.
  • Maintain HR files and oversees HR best practices for compliance and management processes.
  • Responsible for managing CRM.
  • Assist with customer satisfaction experience.
  • Assist with streamlining back-end operations.
  • Technology oversight to include software, phone systems, computer equipment, facility security systems, and data integrity.
  • Keeps performance of companys assets (vehicles, tools, technology) high through managing maintenance schedules, upkeep, etc.
  • Assist in other office and showroom duties including interacting with customers and vendors.
Qualifications
  • Strong comprehension of accounting principles, practices, and methods to ensure record keeping accuracy.
  • Accounting background with substantial experience in bookkeeping or a relevant degree.
  • Exceptional computer software skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and other financial software and CRM applications.
  • Capable of creating, maintaining, and analyzing financial spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage processes. Must be detail oriented, able to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good analytical, judgement, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and implement the best solution to solve problems or challenges and to assist in key decisions to further growth of the business and maximize profitability.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to positively benefit interaction with internal and external clientele.
  • Good comprehension and communication skills, with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through verbal communication.
  • Show enthusiasm, trustworthiness, personal integrity, and honesty.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality to protect companys data/assets.
  • Appropriate level of administrative experience and skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as work well with co-workers and management.
  • Able to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.
  • Must be a TEAM player.
  • A passion or interest for window coverings and design is an added bonus.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, squat throughout the day.
  • Able to sit at a desk comfortably while working on a computer, for extended periods of time.
  • Primarily working in an office environment with occasional light lifting (less than 50 lbs.).
  • Able to assist covering showroom including occasional Saturdays.
Compensation / Additional Considerations
  • Salary range $20.00 to $25.00 depending on experience.
  • Additional 3% IRA match available.
  • Work location is at our office; we do not offer remote work.
  • We currently do not offer health benefits. We do partner with an independent insurance broker that has helped our team get excellent insurance at competitive rates. Please do not apply if health benefits are a primary requirement for your employment.

Budget Blinds is a locally owned franchise that is part of Home Franchise Concepts. We have been serving the Treasure Valley for over 30 years and together with our corporate support we are the #1 provider of custom window coverings in North America. We are excited for the completion of our new showroom, office, and warehouse in 2023. We are currently operating in mobile offices adjacent our new building and a previous warehouse. We are staffing now to be able to fully maximize the potential of our new space.
