  • Manage multiple projects on time and within budget while applying the full rigor of quantitative methods.
  • Work collaboratively with senior Eggs and account leads to proactively advise clients, thinking a few steps ahead to anticipate needs, get ahead of any issues, and solve problems.
  • Show calm, grit and tenacity when navigating through “grey” or difficult client experiences.
  • Serve as an effective peer-to-peer collaborator with colleagues and a mentor to more junior strategists, growing in comfort and ability to provide and accept constructive criticism to improve performance.
  • Contribute to proposals, case studies, project debriefs, onboarding and ongoing education initiatives.

EXPERIENCE BASE & SKILL SET

  • Primary marketing research (experience/interest in managing the full market research cycle including survey design; fieldwork and data management, data analysis, data interpretation, and development of recommendations; reporting and presenting)
  • Quantitative methodologies (knowledge of and/or experience with a range of market research studies, such as: segmentation, brand equity, perceptual mapping, conjoint analysis, and concept testing)
  • Analytical thinking (experience in and comfort with analyzing data and translating it into high-quality PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate the research finding, generating impactful consumer insights through data analysis and thought-provoking headlines)
  • Strategic thinking (able to tie the research to the business of our clients and develop insights and implications that are relevant and actionable)
  • Attention to detail (without losing sight of the big picture able to mind all the little stuff that has a huge impact on the overall experience and outcome of a project)
  • Communications (exceptional listening skills; able to manage logistics, calendars and agendas that keep meetings and projects on time; able to interact and liaise effectively with clients and vendors)
  • Commitment (ability to leverage your resources to navigate challenges, find solutions and ensure reliable results on time and on budget)
  • Learning + application (can demonstrate basic concepts taught and/or guidance received is internalized and applied such that foundations are built which allow for more exposure to more complicated projects and greater responsibility/autonomous working)

In sum, we are looking for someone who is driven to take on new challenges and also has a keen interest in working with growth-oriented, fast-moving, and competitive clients who are leaders in dynamic and/or high-volume categories (e.g., consumer packaged goods, supplements, beverage, beer, spirits, restaurants, retail, fashion, finance, entertainment, pharma, biotech, etc.).  The hiring range for this position is 60K to 100K+ depending on experience and location.
