We're thrilled to announce an outstanding internship opportunity within our Post Production department at FIFTH SEASON, designed for students eager to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of post-production for entertainment projects. Under the mentorship of industry professionals, you'll apply your passion for film and television as you support various aspects of our post-production workflow. Throughout the program, you'll gain hands-on experience in preparing for upcoming development titles, diving into tasks crucial to the finalization of TV shows or movies.
Throughout the 8-week internship, you'll have unparalleled access and insight into the intricate final stages of TV show or movie production, including visits to finishing facilities. Each week will focus on different aspects of Post Production, tailored to the development title you select, with the aim of providing a holistic understanding of the process. We expect interns to spend a portion of each day collaborating with the Post Department, participating in meetings and calls, and the remainder dedicated to project work.
Job Duties may include:
- Participating in Post Production department meetings and discussions.
- Engaging in hands-on prep work for an upcoming development title, including:
- Script breakdown for VFX and Music, understanding their implications.
- Researching and conducting site visits to local Post Production facilities (Color, Sound, etc.).
- Crafting a comprehensive Post Production Schedule.
- Developing a detailed Post Production Budget.
As a capstone to their experience, the intern will also undertake an independent project, culminating in a presentation to company executives at the end of the summer.
