OBJECTIVES

  • Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability
  • Team Management: Training, and managing a team of sales associates to ensure they meet sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitoring sales performance metrics such as revenue, conversion rates, and average transaction value, and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts, as well as managing inventory turnover to optimize cash flow.
  • Promotions and Marketing: Planning and executing sales promotions, advertising campaigns, and other marketing initiatives to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing sales budgets and forecasts, and monitoring expenses to ensure they align with financial objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiating contracts with suppliers and managing relationships to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, particularly those related to pricing, advertising, and product safety.
  • Reporting: Generating regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics for management review.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership abilities are crucial to effectively manage and motivate a team of sales associates.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong sales skills, ability to identify customer needs, negotiate effectively, and close sales. Experience in sales training and coaching is also beneficial.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance. Proficiency in using sales analytics tools and software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with retail management software, point-of-sale systems, and inventory management tools.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, handle pressure, and make quick decisions to address issues as they arise.
  • A good understanding of the retail industry, including market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, retail management, or a related field



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Readiness to report to the office 5 days a week (Mondays - Fridays 9 am - 5 pm CST)
