Sr. Security & Compliance Specialist (Hybrid)
We have an immediate need for a contract Sr. Security & Compliance Specialist to join a global mass media and entertainment conglomerate.
Location: Hybrid working 2-3 days onsite per week out of Burbank, CA strongly preferred, but open to candidates located in Seattle, WA or Orlando, FL.
This job expects to pay about $50 - 55 per hour plus benefits.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for auditing, managing projects, documenting data in smart sheets
- Facilitate remediation and report on control findings
- Facilitate remediation and report on vulnerabilities
- Track risk across the organization and drive remediation
- Produce regular risk reports for executive presentations
- Conduct in-depth research
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the program
What Gets You The Job:
- 2+ years of IT security and/or IT compliance or IT technical support experience
- 2+ years of IT Security or IT Compliance experience
- Vulnerability Management experience
- Experience with a blend of the following tools: Archer, Tenable, Splunk, Axonius
- 3 years of Program and Project Management experience
- Experience with Jira
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry requirements related to Information Security (i.e. EU Safe Harbor Directive, Payment Card Industry, Domestic and International Privacy regulations)
- Well versed with common security frameworks
- Experience with the management of security tools
- Analysis experience of security logs
- Experience with smart sheets desired
