Position Overview:

As a Mobile Service Technician, the role involves providing off-site repairs for Ford and Lincoln vehicles, ensuring immediate resolution for customers. Operating from a mobile van, responsibilities include routine maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting brake repairs, and performing pre and post-collision diagnostic scans. Possessing master technician skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently, contributes to increasing productivity, improving customer satisfaction, and enhancing overall sales volume. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Perform offsite repairs for Ford and Lincoln vehicles, utilizing a mobile van for increased productivity and customer satisfaction.
  2. Enhance sales volume and scheduling availability through efficient offsite repairs.
  3. Conduct pre and post-collision scans, ADAS calibrations, electrical and mechanical work.
  4. Provide brake repairs, replacements, and welding for diesel engines and vehicles.
  5. Utilize tools and equipment for routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
  6. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines, conducting brake repairs.
  7. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on various vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  8. Inspect, test, and diagnose defective equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  9. Maintain a company-issued service vehicle, documenting work performed on proprietary applications.
  10. Ensure compliance with environmental policies, federal regulations, and safety standards.
  11. Efficiently perform outlined repair tasks with accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
  12. Communicate effectively with service advisors, saving and tagging parts as needed.
  13. Document all work performed and recommended, staying updated on manufacturer bulletins.
  14. Supervise apprentice technicians, report machinery defects, and maintain tools and manuals.
  15. Operate tools and equipment safely, reporting any safety issues promptly.
