We are tackling a large number of large projects over the next year--in the US and abroad. We have a ton of irons in the fire and love folks who are creative and excited to roll up their sleeves and get stuff done.

About You

SaaStr is looking a rockstar Account Executive to join our team. This is the perfect role for someone with passion, hustle, and desire to help us build out the SaaStr brand. As an AE at SaaStr, you will be primarily responsible for driving sponsor revenue for SaaStr Annual, our 10,000+ attendee event in San Francisco. We are looking to double the amount of sponsors this year, so there is a lot of greenfield to go after This role will also help support sales for our other events, like SaaStr Europa, SaaStr Pro, our Co-selling Space, and our media sales. There is a lot of money to be made in sponsorship sales for the right, motivated AE

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver against a meaningful revenue quota
  • Work in conjunction with marketing to develop a list of target accounts to prospect
  • Research and reach out to target accounts through a variety of channels--email, phone, social media, direct mail, in person meetings, etc
  • Work with an SDR to qualify and set up inbound meetings
  • Help us move up-market and scale the business by bringing in more and bigger sponsors
  • Help develop an outbound sales process that enables us to scale
  • Partner with marketing, sales development, and customer renewals and success to ensure a seamless sales and customer experience
  • Leverage Salesforce for lead and pipeline management, and sales forecasting

Skills:

  • Hunger and passion for outbound sales
  • Combination of passion for the SaaStr brand, exceptional sales skills, and technical competency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire for in-person relationship building
  • Strong sales process discipline
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Experience:

  • BA/BS
  • Strong experience in an outbound lead generating role
  • 2+ years of experience in a closing role
  • 1+ years of experience in an outbound sales role
  • Prior experience as an SDR preferred
  • Prior experience selling software
  • Prior experience selling event sponsorship a plus
  • Experience using Salesforce and other tools like Salesloft and Outreach
