Position Description
The EMT (Emergency Medial Technician) at Honor Community Health (HCH) is essential to our high-performing Heathcare team. This non-exempt position reports to the lead medical assistant, Practice Manager, or Director of Health Center Operations depending on the position location. The EMP provides direct and indirect patient care while assisting clinicians in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered, medical care. The EMT is also responsible for completing general office duties and patient records and monitoring various clinical processes. 

What are we looking for?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment
  • Experience cleaning office space
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of general principles of medicine as can be derived from an EMT or paramedic training program.
  • Postsecondary certificate (EMTs); Associate’s degree (Paramedics).
  • Certification and state license required.
  • BLS Certified through American Heart Association.
  • 6 + months in a similar clinical position is required.
  • Strong computer skills utilizing-
    1. Electronic health record (NextGen preferred)
    2. Microsoft Office
