Element has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Dispatcher to join our team  This is a 4-5 month contract position that will start in July and run through sometime in November/early December.

 

This person will be one of the most visible positions on our team. Responsibilities include assigning work tickets, managing support boards and help to organize and create efficiencies with our client ticketing system.  General job duties include:


  • Answer incoming phone calls, collect the necessary information to create tickets
  • Assist with assigning tickets and dispatching staff
  • Monitor resources and schedules on service desk to ensure prompt response and follow-through occur in all support requests
  • Review old tickets and ensure no stale tickets carry over daily
  • Keep service boars clean and assign tickets as necessary
  • Balance CST loads and ask for help if any CST becomes overwhelmed
  • Escalate issues accordingly when critical or high visibility problems arise
  • Review tickets at end of day to prepare for following day’s workload

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Two or four year technical degree
  • 1-5 + years of recent relevant service center support or dispatch experience
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Strong and proactive oral and written communication
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be very detail-oriented
  • Pro-active with ability to anticipate client needs and potential issues

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong deductive reasoning and rapid problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and professional environment
