Dave Carter and Associates is seeking a full time Sales Representative for our Indiana branch to handle client/sales operations 


Dave Carter & Associates is a multi-line national distributor to multiple industries including manufactured housing, modular builders, recreational vehicles, commercial construction, cargo trailers and specialty vehicle industries.


Incorporated in September of 1978 as a distributor in the Southeastern United States, Dave Carter & Associates grew into a national distributor within the next five years.  Currently Dave Carter & Associates has 11 distribution centers that serve all of the United States and Canada with our international division focusing on handling imports & exports. We are a leader and dominant supplier in the products we sell, with a large market share in most products to the aforementioned industries.

Position Summary

We are actively seeking a qualified Inside Sales Representative to excel in client relations and sales operations. This role is crucial for the success of our company and requires a highly competent individual with a strong background in inside sales, customer service, and process management. Working collaboratively with external sales teams and other internal departments, the Inside Sales Representative will focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving sales growth.


Responsibilities

· Client Relationship Management: Understand the unique needs and expectations of customers to provide tailored solutions that add value.


· Process & Procedure Optimization: Continuously identify and implement improvements to optimize departmental processes and procedures.


· Database Management: Manage and regularly update customer contact databases to ensure accurate and accessible information.


· Customer Service: Address and proactively resolve customer complaints to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.


· Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with internal sales and pricing teams, as well as external sales representatives, to generate up-to-date and competitive bids.


· Order Management: Monitor and manage order queues on digital platforms, including iPads, to ensure timely processing.


· Order Validation: Review and validate customer orders received through various channels, including fax, email, and field sales representatives.


· Product Expertise: Leverage in-depth product knowledge to assist customers and sales teams in identifying optimal product applications.


· Problem Solving – have the ability to think independently and to solve day to day customer issues that may arise.


Required Qualifications and Skills

· Must be 18 years old 


· Must be able to pass a background check and Pre-employment drug screen


· Must be authorized to work in the US


· Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.


· Problem-Solving: Documented success in creative problem-solving skills with a focus on customer-centric resolutions.


· Organizational & Management Skills: Strong organizational and management skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively across teams.


· Multitasking & Conflict Resolution: Demonstrated ability to multitask and effectively manage conflicts within a business setting.


· Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the RV market, including specific product applications and customer needs.


· Minimum two years’ experience in a sales environment, preferably RV industry.
