We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for various processes and systems within the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses for proposed automation projects.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure automation systems meet technical specifications and performance requirements.
  • Integrate automation solutions with existing IT systems, including ERP, MES, and SCADA systems.
  • Troubleshoot automation issues and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Provide training and technical support to operations teams on the use and maintenance of automation systems.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in automation technologies and recommend enhancements or upgrades as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to automation and control systems.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
  • Experience with SCADA systems, MES solutions, and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java for automation scripting and integration.
  • Familiarity with robotics, vision systems, and motion control technologies is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and software (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Wonderware).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
