Human Resources Administrator Job Purpose:
Human Resources purpose is to manage and maintain the following recruitment, safety, employee relations, benefits, compliance and training & development.
Human Resources Administrator Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists in the evaluation of resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews.
• Manage the onboarding paperwork (application, E-Verify, I-9, W-4, etc.).
• Process & maintain employee records (including temps) and prepare reports relating to personnel (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).
• Manage the off-boarding paperwork (termination report, exit interview, cobra benefits, etc.).
• Serves as Daily liaison between the temporary agencies and the company for the recruitment process.
• Assess training needs (assist with preparation of training programs).
• Assists with all benefits plans & informs all employees of their benefit plans (Medical, Life Ins, Dental, 401K, ESOP).
• Process employees’ requests and provide relevant information.
• Prepare and maintain the company paperwork for policies and procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Plan events that recognize and/or empower employees (Key Anniversary, Employee Appreciation Day, Award of Excellence, Suggestion Box).
• Verify timekeeping information for all employees to ensure timecard accuracy and supervisors’ approval for weekly payroll.
• Initiates and implements necessary activities to ensure total employee satisfaction and a thorough understanding of the Quality Policy.
• Payroll Back-Up.
• Manages and Investigates Worker’s Compensation Claims.
• Keep track and monitor results for HR KPIs.
• Phone coverage when needed.
• Assist in other departments when needed with projects.
Human Resources Administrator Requirements & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in the human resources field.
- Associate degree (preferred).
- Must be bilingual (ENGLISH / SPANISH). Translation of documents.
- Organized and self-directed individual with high ethical standards.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft software. (Excel, Word and PPoint)
