MaxHealth in Sarasota is looking for a full-time Billing Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the relationship between the billing team and the clinics. They must possess billing and coding experience and experience managing a team.

This position is in-office and located at our corporate office on Bee Ridge Rd in Sarasota.

Must Possess Qualifications:

  • Billing/Coding Certification Required or relevant experience/Associate Degree or higher preferred
  • EMR experience/E-Clinical Works preferred
  • Strong skills in working with computers and communication equipment-Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills at all levels of interaction
  • Ability to track revenue cycles changes relevant to practices and payers then provide training and education on such changes.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes
  • Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) including but not limited to eligibility, charge posting, claims management, coding, accounts receivable, appeals management and analytics
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

The Medical Billing Manager is responsible for:

  • Overseeing onsite A/R Billing Specialist(s) and remote coders.
  • Responsible for billing set up for any new or changing providers and services within the EMR.
  • Liaison to all offshore billing Team Leads for any questions or issues.
  • Ensure all reports provided by off-shore team are delivered timely and accurately
  • Review all Month End Billing Reports and send analytics and summary to VP of Finance to be included in Month End Financial Reports.
  • Ensure all Practice Managers/Assistant Managers are responding efficiently and timely for outstanding billing or operational items.
  • Provide Practice Managers/Assistant Managers with training and oversight related to RCM and training to new providers on general billing standards
  • Oversee all KPI's related to RCM.
  • Maintain master files for Fee Schedules including updates as needed. Ensure all fee tables are loaded and updated in practice management system on a yearly basis.
  • Ensure billing staff is adhering to standardized policies and update when necessary.
