Birmingham, United States Trinity Employment Specialists Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

Nurse Practitioner | Birmingham, AL

Direct Hire Opportunity| $140K-$160K, DOE

Trinity Employment Staffing Agency is looking for a Nurse Practitioner for a direct hire opportunity We have partnered with an innovative healthcare provider devoted to improving the lives of our senior members. They deliver best-in-class care at comfortable, accessible neighborhood clinics where seniors can feel at home and become part of a vibrant, wellness-focused community. Our members experience greater continuity of care, as well as the comfort of knowing they will be treated with respect by people who genuinely care about them, their families, and their communities.

Job Summary:

Our client is an innovative, rapidly growing medical group that is changing the way primary care is delivered to seniors. Our state-of-the-art centers are in communities where there is little to no quality healthcare today. The healthcare model is entirely driven by providing better primary care to our patients, not by the volume of services we provide. Because we are fully accountable for the health of our patients, we spend more time with them and offer more comprehensive care. Put simply, we provide the care that our patients deserve.

Our Client offers Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants advantages that are unmatched:

  • Employed position with above-market compensation that includes base salary and bonus (based upon quality metrics, not RVUs or volume)
  • Outpatient primary care responsibilities only
  • Full malpractice coverage with tail
  • Generous benefits, including vacation, health insurance, retirement benefits, and CME
  • State-of-the-art centers that are newly built and located within the community
  • Cloud-based electronic health record and technology
  • Ability to practice as part of a collaborative team that may include, but is not limited to, Family Practice and/or Internal Medicine Physicians, RN Clinical Managers, and center team
  • A fully supportive care team that enables our providers to spend time with their patients and provide outstanding care
  • Ideal candidates will be:
  • Currently licensed to practice professional nursing or Physician Assistant in the state of employment, active and non-probationary
  • Experienced in primary care: internal medicine, geriatrics, or family medicine
  • Current BLS/ACLS certification
  • Driven to and comfortable with managing a primarily Medicare-aged, medically underserved patient population with comorbid conditions
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
  • Able to demonstrate interpersonal skills to be approachable and understandable to patients, families, and center team members
  • Confident in their ability to deliver high quality primary care, which includes being available to patients and addressing their medical and social needs
  • Passionate about their work and energized by being part of a fast growing organization
  • Comfortable traveling within the market to multiple centers within short distance of each other
