Lamination Line Operator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:

Assist lamination line lead operator on the cold press and general processing of panel products. Ensures that the products meet the standards of Kerfkore’s processing specifications.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work with the Lamination line lead to produce high-quality finished goods and ensure proper cold press times are met.
  • Inspecting equipment and performing basic adjustments and preventative maintenance when needed
  • Following all Company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Loads and monitors hydraulic cold press machine.
  • Responsible for maintaining and cleaning machinery, and work area.
  • Responsible for cleaning materials to be processed as finished goods.
  • Assists in other production areas when needed.

 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to operate machinery
  • Must be able to stand for long hours and be able to lift at or above the waist at a maximum of seventy pounds
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • A great sense of humor
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and resolve conflict in a professional manner.
  • Assist co-workers as trained and authorized.
  • Able to realize machine irregularities and make proper decisions concerning corrective actions


Work Environment: Employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock, and vibration.  Noise Level: Medium Loud


Position Type/Hours of Work: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED


Salary/Benefits: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. Based on experience.

Reports To: Plant Manager
