We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead our HR Team. As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our workforce and driving HR initiatives that align with our company's mission and values. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Human Resources of our parent company, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, payroll, employee relations, training and development, and HR compliance.

Your Day-to-Day: to excel in this role, you will need to...

  • Lead a high functioning and experienced HR team in the execution of their functions supporting Rugby’s business results.
  • Lead the execution of HR policies, procedures, and programs that support organizational goals and comply with legal requirements.
  • Serve as an advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues, providing guidance and support in areas such as performance management, conflict resolution, and employee development.
  • Oversee employee relations activities, including investigating and resolving employee complaints and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
  • Partner with department managers to identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, staying abreast of changes and advising management on necessary actions.
  • Manage HR metrics and reporting, providing insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Oversee the talent management staff in the full cycle of talent acquisition.
  • While this position offers opportunities for a hybrid work environment, to include occasional telework, you should be willing and able to work in-person the majority of the time.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; OR 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated and broad experience in employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and training and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • SHRM certification (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
